Marc Kenny Band

Having toured all over the world, Marc has band set ups featuring some of the finest musicians. Band setup can include female vocalists, saxophone, trumpet, additional percussion or a string section. Playlists can be created for your event – you can hand pick your setlist or be genre specific, ie 80’s or 90’s etc. If you want the band to learn any particular songs this can be accommodated too, so the performance is completely tailored to your event.

December 2019

We first met Marc while he was playing at a friends wedding. What first struck us about him was how friendly and approachable he was. We were currently in the middle of planning for our own wedding and after seeing him perform throughout the day we approached him about the possibility of entertaining at ours wedding which was held in Thailand.

We then proceeded to stay in contact via email as we reside in Australia. Many emails were sent back and forth as we had quite a wide range of music requests, both modern and classic oldies. This was not a problem at all for Marc – his knowledge of music is immense! He knew the oldies and also the modern ones the younger guys would like. It’s fair to say that he took on quite a few songs that we gave him – he learned them too!

So we all arrived in Thailand. Marc brought over his equipment and we spoke throughout the week about songs and how the ceremony would be structured etc. At the ceremony we asked him to play ‘Blackbird’ by the Beatles. This was played as my wife walked down the isle to perfection. With his amazing subtle voice & perfectly played guitar, it was genuinely top class. During the evening we had a mixture of new and old and also a few songs when certain members of the bridal party sung with Marc – we had an amazing rendition of ‘Help’ that I know he will treasure forever! ha.

Honestly, we could not fault him and both of our families talked about how he performed for the rest of the holiday. He’s even been booked for another family wedding so we will be seeing him again next year. He’s professional, organised, friendly and most of all talented!

The wife and I could not have chosen a better person for our occasion and we would like to thank him so much for that.
